MAAMI, on Sunday 11th November, is based on a well-known Nigerian novel and directed by veteran Nigerian director Tunde Kelani, who fuses the energy of Nollywood with the seriousness of Yoruba cultural heritage. Nigerian footballer Kashimawo returns home days before the final selections for Nigeria’s World Cup team, and through revisiting his difficult past, has to make some life-changing decisions. We are very pleased to announce that director Tunde Kelani will be attending a Q&A following the screening.
