KUMBA FLYER_27FEBweb

CAFF is very please to be hosting another film screening with partner Menelik Education, as part of the South Africa at 20: The Freedom Tour. In this case, we will be screening Khumba: A Zebra’s Tale, an animation for the whole family, directed by Anthony Silverston in 2013.

Khuma is the story of a half-striped zebra born into an insular, superstitious herd. He is immediately ostracized by the rest of the zebras, except for Tombi, a feisty tomboy. When he is blamed for the drought, Khumba leaves the only home he has ever known in search of the magic waterhole where legend has it, the first zebras got their stripes. It’s not all black and white in this colourful animation for the whole family!
