cambridge african film festival 2013
In 2013, CAFF was split into two separate sections - held on different sets of dates. The first set of films was a selection of films brought to the UK in collaboration with the other four largest African film festivals: Africa-in-Motion, Film Africa and Afrika Eye Film Festival. This collaboration was the result of many years of working alongside the other festivals, but never so overtly. This would solidify and strengthen in later years.
The second part of the festival uniquley belonged to CAFF - a set of films shown only in Cambridge, with two guest filmmakers: Avie Luthrie, with his film LUCKY, and Harry Freeland with his documentary IN THE SHADOW OF THE SUN.
